The Water Mission

Our Mission

The Purest Water for Every Afrikan Child.

Water BNB exists to help create modern, sustainable clean-water infrastructure around schools, hospitals, and spiritual spaces, the places where a community’s life already happens.

Every retreat, membership, course, and experience we create helps fund clean water solutions for communities that need them most. Together, we can transform travel into impact and create lasting waves of change, one child, one family, and one community at a time.

Where This Stands Today

This is an evolving mission. Verified impact statistics, partners, and project updates will be published here transparently as they’re confirmed. We won’t exaggerate what’s been done, trust is built by being honest about exactly where things stand.

The Challenge

  • Access: Despite gains since 2015, 1 in 4, or 2.1 billion people globally, still lack access to safely managed drinking water, including 106 million who drink directly from untreated surface sources.
  • Education and Health: A lack of clean water affects children’s health, dignity, education, and future opportunities.
  • Infrastructure: Many communities need sustainable, locally supported water solutions that can serve generations.

The Water Crisis Facing Afrikan Children

Across Africa, an estimated 190 million children live in areas facing severe water vulnerability. Millions lack access to safe drinking water, basic sanitation, and hygiene facilities, leaving them exposed to preventable diseases that continue to claim the lives of thousands of children under the age of five.

According to UNICEF, in the ten most water-insecure countries in Africa, including Somalia, Chad, and Nigeria, more than 65% of children do not have access to basic sanitation services. Many face a devastating combination of unsafe water, climate change, drought, flooding, and disease.

In Eastern and Southern Africa, more than half of all children struggle every day to access enough clean water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene. Without reliable access to safe water, children are more likely to miss school, suffer from malnutrition, and experience life-threatening illnesses.

Clean water is not a luxury, it is the foundation of health, education, dignity, and opportunity. Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, learn, and reach their full potential.
